Nobody can a tackle and accomplish complex tasks in drug discovery, pharmaceutical development, or production on their own. So, I enjoy helping to organize teams in an effective way to define the best strategy that leads to highest product and service standards, to create an environment in which information flows easily, and to make sure that decisions are taken in an informed but timely way at the right level.
I am broadly interested in all kinds of sciences and technologies, but just as much in the mechanisms and psychology of human (team) interaction and communication. Working with individuals and groups in a structured, analytical way is a very satisfying and also fun experience – for all involved.

More than 25 years hands-on experience in leadership, project management and executive management roles in the pharmaceutical industry. In-depth knowledge of the value chain from discovery to market approval.

- 3 years as CEO of a biotech startup company
- 5 years international consulting experiences
Project leader for multidisciplinary, global R&D and organizational development projects in organizations of up to 200+ individuals
Extensive international experience and with diverse collaborations in Europe, USA, and Asia.

Business plan authoring and leadership of a biotech startup company during inception and seed financing phase. Implementation and integration of all relevant business processes (R&D, HR, Finance, Legal, IT, Real Estate, Grant Application, etc.) in interaction with staff, investors, authorities, external service providers, and other stakeholders.
Target Operating Model development and roll-out support in combination with team development and leadership coaching.
Capability analysis in a development organization and implementation support across several departments.
